Why Belgium does not work like the Netherlands
Most advice on AI visibility assumes one language and one market. In Belgium that assumption is wrong, and it is usually where things break down.
AI assistants cite different sources per language. A Dutch-language answer is assembled from Dutch-language sources, a French answer from French ones. If all your content is in Dutch, you do not exist in the French answer — not even when your office is in Brussels and your customers live around the corner.

Why does ChatGPT mention us in Dutch but not in French?
